  history dates back to his appearances on Ron Chapman’s popular teen telev
 ision program Sump’N Else during the 1960s.   Bobby is one of the few\, if
  any\, who has worked in every facet of the music business\; singer\, song
 writer\, composer\, multi-instrumentalist\, producer\, promoter\, label ow
 ner\, and disc jockey. \nMusic critic Robert Wilonsky states\, “Bobby Patt
 erson\, whose body is almost 70 and whose voice still needs an ID to buy a
  drink\, sounds today just like he did in the mid-1960s\, when he was Dall
 as’ No. 1 soul brother. The man isn’t tall\, but he can still reach the no
 tes on the top shelf without a ladder.” \nPatterson worked as a DJ on the
  Dallas based radio station Soul Knocking KKDA 730 AM\, until May 2012. \n
 Patterson released a new album\, I Got More Soul! \, in July 2014. \nBacki
