  that are abducted—scooped up whole—and deposited inside a 4\,000-mile-lon
 g McKendree Cylinder by parties unknown. The series is a character-driven
  military science fiction/space opera story that follows our heroes as the
 y explore and discover what and why this has happened as they encounter an
 d engage threats both inside the McKendree Cylinder – and beyond. The book
 s feature cover art by Hugo Award-winning artist and author Ron Miller. \n
 In 1995\, Patrick Seaman helped Mark Cuban launch what later became AudioN
 et/broadcast.com\, which was then acquired by Yahoo for $5.4B. He was the
  publisher of the first audiobook on the Internet and serialized it as the
  first known podcast. He also co-wrote the first book on Internet broadcas
