 rds\, Tejano Experience is a case study in Spanish-American and Mexican Am
 erican genealogy. This book resulted from the author’s efforts to find mor
 e information about himself\, his family\, and his fellow Tejanos.  \nA su
 bculture within the Hispanic and Latino communities\, Tejanos possess many
  unique cultural and family traditions that set them apart. Thus\, tracing
  ancestries is a daunting task for them. Dr. Saldaña will share how he ove
 rcame obstacles while researching his ancestry. As a result of his efforts
 \, he captured family stories which are often overlooked. In addition\, he
  stresses the importance of putting them into print. \nA Texas resident\,
  Dr. Saldaña holds an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing and a Doctora
