Directed by Craig Logan and Ray Akin, the 20-member Allen Community Jazz Band will return to the Allen Public Library Civic Auditorium and present an afternoon of light and enjoyable jazz and pop music for all to savor at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 24. Selections will include all time Big Band Favorites In the Mood, Sentimental Journey,
Moon River, The Girl from Ipanema, and contemporary favorites like Watermelon Man, Norwegian Wood, Aretha Franklin’s Respect, and Make Me Smile by Chicago. Bruno Mars, Stevie Wonder and other contemporary artists are also part of the mix.
