Take a journey through seven decades of cinematic musical history via vintage sheet music at the Allen Public Library this month. This fascinating array of both popular tunes and long forgotten soundtracks from the Golden Era of Hollywood will be on display in the library’s gallery through the month of March. Most visitors will recall Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music but what about I’m Thru with Love and Angels With Dirty Faces? In addition to stirring musical memories, the cover art that adorns this sheet music adds a visual treat as well.
