Hugely popular with all age groups, role-playing games make memories, spark creativity, and help younger players learn life skills. Keith Byler will be both game master and teacher at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, October 27, at the Allen Public Library.  Admission to the program is free, and it will be web-cast live at ACTV.org by clicking on the WATCH button.

Mr. Byler will demonstrate how role-playing games are transformative.  Role-playing games can bring families and friends closer.  A willingness to explore the imagination is all that is required to begin the journey.  Mr. Byler observes, “As soon as humans learned to communicate, we told stories.” Role playing games enhance storytelling skills.

A descendent of early Collin county pioneer families, Keith Byler has served as a game master for over 30 years.

The library is located at 300 N. Allen Dr.  Call 214-509-4911 for additional information.
