Enjoy John Williams, The Cowboys Overture, Curtis Mayfield’s It’s Alright, TJ Cole’s Nightscapes and William Grant-Still’s Symphony No.1, AfroAmerican. The Grant-Still work holds the unique history of the first symphony composed by a black composer performed by a major American Orchestra.
Special guest Alex McDonald solos in George Geshwin’s iconic Rhapsody in Blue.
