The Kiwanis Club of Allen presented their annual scholarship awards at the weekly Key Club meeting on May 1 at Allen High School. Key Club Immediate Past President Eric Yan and Key Club member and Angel League Mentor Hallie Larson were recognized for their scholastic achievement and volunteer work within the community. Both have been accepted to several major universities and both are interested in pursuing a medical career.

The Kiwanis Club of Allen presents these awards annually to deserving college bound seniors who are members of the Key Club and have demonstrated scholastic achievement, leadership and service to the community.

The Kiwanis Club of Allen is a local chapter of Kiwanis International, dedicated to "Changing the World One Child & One Community at a Time."
