Ladies, come be a part of this incredible experience planned just for you! The Fall Women’s Retreat is set for October 23-24 at First Baptist Church Allen.

The theme for this event is “Beyond these Walls”.  During this weekend event, you will discover great new ideas on how you can serve and minister to those around you.

We will spend focused time in worship and in breakout sessions as we seek fun and practical ways to love and minister to our neighbors. Kathy Strawn will lead a session outlining how to effectively use your free time in a heart-warming card ministry. Polly Montgomery will share simple local service ideas that you can do alone, with your family or in a small group.

Jenny Simmons will be leading our worship and will be the keynote speaker. Learn more about Jenny Simmons.

Friday (October 23, 7 p.m.-9 p.m.)

7:00-7:30  Check-in/Meet & Mingle

7:30-8:30  Worship led by Jenny Simmons

8:30-9:00  Wrap Up/Visit/Resources will be available for purchase

Saturday (October 24, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.)

9:00-9:30     Breakfast (provided)

9:30-10:30   Worship led by Jenny Simmons

10:30-10:45 Break/Resources will be available for purchase

10:45-11:30 Worship/Keynote led by Jenny Simmons

11:30-12:30 Lunch (provided)

12:30-1:15   Breakout #1

1:35-2:20     Breakout #2

2:40-3:00    Wrap Up/Prayer

We know that weekends are busy, so feel free to come to all or part of the weekend.

Tickets are $40 which includes an event t-shirt, breakfast and lunch on Saturday. For tickets, please contact Kristi Durham or you may stop by the church office during the week.
