Coming off a long weekend, Collin County Animal Services is encouraging residents to adopt a pet and save a life.

The shelter is currently full and can use all the help it can get in order to save the lives of Collin County shelter animals.  There is no adoption fee, but animals must be spayed or neutered within 30 days of adoption.

The Collin County Animal Shelter is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.

If you're thinking about adding a new furry friend to your family, give a shelter pet the late holiday gift of rescue and adoption.

For more information, please visit the Collin County Urgents Facebook page.

Collin County Animal Services is located at 4750 Community Blvd. in McKinney.
