There is a military adage…”We take care of our own”. Members of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 2195, Allen Texas still remember and believe in it after transitioning to civilian life. With the assistance of Market Street Allen, Texas and their shoppers a food drive to help stock the Allen Community Outreach food pantry for Easter was undertaken.

The one day event resulted in the collection of $1750 in food donations, $576 cash and $750 in Market Street Grocery gift cards. The objective was to make Easter dinner a pleasurable event for as many families in our respective communities as possible.

VFW Post 2195 would like to thank Market Street and their shoppers for making the food drive a success!
