Beginning on Thursday, Feb. 23, the Art Club of McKinney will host the Collin County Student Art Show through Saturday, Feb. 25 at the McKinney Performing Arts Center.  

The Collin County Student Art show will display artwork by high schoolers throughout the county, showcasing their talents through various mediums including painting, photography, drawings, sculpture, and computer-generated original art.  In addition to the art show, a silent auction will run during the event.

Students may enter their work through Wednesday, Feb. 22.  All current high school students throughout Collin County are encouraged to enter the art show.  To have their work displayed at the show, students must fill out an entry form (available at www.theartclubmckinney.com) and turn in artwork, forms, and the $10 entry fee to the McKinney Performing Arts Center.  Student entries will be eligible for awards and cash prizes.

The Collin County Art Show is a free event and is open to the public.
