Members of VFW Post 2195 Allen TX and the Auxiliary greeted shoppers at Market Street Allen during the three-day Memorial Day Weekend. Shoppers were offered a poppy along with a handout that defined the origin of the relationship between the poppy and the VFW.

A heartfelt thanks to the management and staff of Market Street for hosting the event. One of the Market Street associates, Ainsley, presented the Post with a flower arrangement in recognition of military veterans that made the ultimate sacrifice in the defense of the nation.  Ainsley returned the next day with her family to thank the members of the Post for their service.
