Holly Jolly Fun Run (3:30 PM)

The Holly Jolly Fun Run is a non-competitive run for participants of all ages. Strollers and dogs on leashes are welcome.

The Holly Jolly Fun Run will start in front of Rodenbaugh's Appliance Store (102 West Main Street - Allen) and finish near the Allen Drive & St. Mary Drive roundabout (near the Allen Public Library).

 

Holly Jolly 5K (4:00 PM)

The Holly Jolly 5K is a competitive run open to all ages. Chips are attached to your bib. Chip times used to determine results. If bib/chip are misplaced prior to race, you will be charged a replacement fee. Strollers and dogs on leashes are welcome; however, we ask that these runners move toward the back of the start line.

The Holly Jolly 5K will start in front of Rodenbaugh's Appliance Store (102 West Main Street - Allen). Runners will head east on Main Street, north on Cedar Drive, east on Allen Station Drive, north on Rivercrest Boulevard, west on Exchange Parkway, south on Cedar Drive, west on St. Mary Drive, head around the roundabout, and finish on St. Mary Drive (near the Allen Public Library).

 

Holly Jolly Celebration (3:30 PM - 7:30 PM)

After you finish your race, please stick around as The Holly Jolly Celebration will be taking place simultaneously with the Holly Jolly 5K & Fun Run. Don't miss out on this fun family event as there will be arts & crafts, food trucks, adult beverages, live performances, and the nightcap will be our annual Christmas Tree lighting! Additional Race Information

Packet Pick-Up

All online registrants will need to pick up their race packets between 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM on Wednesday, November 30 or Thursday, December 1 from the Allen Parks & Recreation Administration (301 Century Parkway, Allen, Texas 75013). Race packets will also be available for pick-up beginning at 2:30 PM on race day, Saturday, December 3.

 

Race Shirts

Souvenir race shirts included if a participant registers during the registration dates (Monday, September 12 through Sunday, November 13):

  • Holly Jolly Fun Run participants will receive a Carolina Blue short-sleeve shirt and
  • Holly Jolly 5K participants will receive a Red long-sleeve shirt.

Late registrations received after November 13 will NOT BE GUARANTEED to receive a race shirt.

Any participants who registered after November 13 will have the opportunity to receive a race shirt on a first-come basis during one of the packet pick-up dates or race day ONLY. Please note: Limited quantities will be available.

 

Shirt Exchanges

If you determine you ordered the wrong size shirt, we offer a shirt exchange. Shirt sizes can be exchanged on the dates and times listed within the Packet Pick-Up section above.

 

Shuttles & Parking

Free parking is available on a first-come basis in Downtown Allen. Road closures in Downtown Allen will begin at 2:00PM. Please see the course map to see which roads will be closed.

PARKING DETAILS: This will be the first year that we will be offering a shuttle service as runners were previously instructed to park in the Allen Public Library parking lot when the race and tree lighting took place on different days. There will be shuttle buses picking up at Lowery Ninth Grade Center (368 N. Greenville Avenue, Allen, Texas 75002) and dropping off at the Allen Senior Recreation Center (451 St. Mary Drive, Allen, Texas 75002). Buses will load near the Lowery Ninth Grade Center Gym (large parking lot off Jupiter Road between Greenville Avenue and Main Street). The drop-off location at the Allen Recreation Senior Center is 0.5 miles from the race start line so please plan accordingly if you will be utilizing the shuttle before the start of your race! NOTE: Parking will NOT be available at the Allen Public Library as the Holly Jolly Celebration around this area.

 

Awards & Medals

Winning School Traveling Trophy: The Allen ISD Elementary School & Middle School as well as the Lovejoy ISD Elementary School with the highest percentage of participation will be awarded with a traveling trophy.

 

Awards: The Holly Jolly 5K awards the overall male, overall female, Master’s male, and Master’s female participants with a $100 prize.

 

Medals: Top three finishers in each age category will receive a Holly Jolly 5K race medal. Age categories are as follows: 7 & under, 8-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+, and Master’s (40+).

 

NOTE: Winning School Traveling Trophy, Awards, and 1st Place Medals will be awarded at the stage near the race finish line beginning around 5:40 PM.
