The Allen Americans have announced today that the team is offering $2 hot dogs for both of its home games this weekend at Allen Event Center. All fans in attendance can take advantage of these great concession prices on both Friday and Saturday.
The Americans host the Denver Cutthroats on Friday, Dec. 7 (7:05 p.m.), and the Wichita Thunder on Saturday, Dec. 8 (7:05 p.m.).
The Americans also announced that Miss Texas USA 2013 – Alexandria Nugent – will be at both Americans games this weekend, and fans will get a chance to meet her.
Miss Nugent will appear at the games to help promote the Allen Americans Foundation Seats for Soldiers effort – designed to give complimentary seats to our country’s military personnel. The Americans are holding a silent auction at the game on Friday night, good for four people to sit in a suite with Miss Nugent at Saturday’s game, complete with dinner in the Jameson Lounge. The auction will benefit the Seats for Soldiers program.

The reigning Miss Texas USA will be signing autographs and taking photos with fans on the concourse prior to both games, from 6:05 p.m. (doors open) – 6:50 p.m. She will also drop the ceremonial first puck on Saturday evening with Americans Minority Owner and Partner Mike Modano.
If you need more time with the Allen Americans this weekend, you can also join the Allen Americans Ice Angels for their 2013 Calendar Release and Autograph Party on Friday, Dec. 7, after the Americans home game vs. Denver. The party will take place at Fairview Down Under (The Village at Fairview is located at 352 Town Plaza in Fairview, Texas).
The hockey game starts at 7:05 p.m., with the calendar party starting approximately 30 minutes after the game. Calendars are $20, and will be available at the party.
