DALLAS (December 7, 2018) – Award-winning, salad-centric Snappy Salads is scheduled to open its newest location on Friday, December 14, at the south end of Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm located on the southwest quadrant of Hwy-75 and Bethany Drive in Allen, Texas. This will be the 18th Snappy Salads restaurant in Texas.

 

To celebrate, Snappy Salads will host a “Dressing Rehearsal” on Thursday, December 13, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Guests who attend are asked to donate $5 and in return will receive a salad and beverage of their choice. All money collected will go directly to the Allen High School Cheerleading Scholarship Fund.

 

Snappy Salads offers life-changing salads made from fresh, quality ingredients with produce that is prepared on site, and made-from-scratch soups and dressings in a casual and communal atmosphere with a cool vibe.

 

“Snappy Salads has proven that even salad-hating people will change their mind after trying our top-selling menu items like our Grilled Avocado Salad with Chipotle Lime Vinaigrette,” said Chris Dahlander, founder. “Our Warm Riced Cauliflower Salad and nutrient-dense Bam Bam Salad also have allowed our guests to discover that healthy and nutritious food can be satisfying.”

 

The new 2,240-square-foot location continues Snappy Salads mission to leave the world healthier than the way they found it. Gathering tables are made from reclaimed wood, lighting is energy-efficient, takeout containers and utensils are biodegradable, compostable cups are made from renewable resources, and straws are made from paper. Snappy Salads is also proud to serve food products that are aligned with its mission like non-GMO oil, ferrous gluconate-free black beans and olives, EDTA-free mayonnaise, sustainably raised tomatoes, and organic fair trade iced tea.

 

The Watters Creek location will offer indoor and outdoor seating for 60 guests. Snappy Salads is also known for its catering options. Guests can order online and receive rewards for purchases through a mobile app. Hours of operation will be 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
