In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, the following City of Allen offices and facilities will be closed: 

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 23

  • Allen Public Library closes at 6 p.m.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 24

  • Allen Community Ice Rink 
  • Allen Event Center Box O­ce (open Fri. 10 a.m.)
  • The Edge Skate Park (open Fri. 8 a.m.) 

THURSDAY AND FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 24 AND 25

  • Allen City Hall
  • Allen Event Center Administrative Offices
  • Allen Public Library
  • Allen Animal Shelter
  • Allen Senior Recreation Center (also closed Sat., Nov. 26)
  • Chase Oaks Golf Club
  • Don Rodenbaugh Natatorium
  • Joe Farmer Recreation Center
  • Municipal Court
  • The Edge Visitors Center 

In addition, trash pick-up routes will be changed:

CWD Service Schedule: Holiday trash service will not run on Thursday, November 24.  Service for Thursday will slide to Friday, and Friday service will slide to Saturday.  Saturday service will be as usual.
