Hawaiian Falls Waterparks sponsored The Afters concert as part of Faith & Family Night at the Allen Event Center, which followed the January 31 Dallas Sidekicks - Las Vegas Legends indoor soccer game. The Sidekicks won 8-6.

Fans were allowed down on the field immediately after the game. A stage was set up and fans were allowed within a few feet of the band as they performed. In fact, lead singer Joshua Havens even waded into the crowd to high five several fans during the performance. After the concert, the band hung around to meet fans and sign autographs.

The Afters played an hour-long set, including such popular hits as Every Good Thing; Broken Hallelujah and Beautiful Love.

The Afters are a Christian pop band founded by Joshua Havens and Matt Fuqua. Havens and Fuqua met and worked together in a Starbucks coffee shop in Mesquite, where they played for customers before forming their band. The Afters have won several Dove Awards.

Celebrating more than a decade of bringing families closer together, Hawaiian Falls operates water parks in Garland, The Colony, Mansfield, Roanoke and Waco. The first Adventure Park – Water Park combinations are currently under construction in Pflugerville (north of Austin) and White Settlement (northwest of Fort Worth), both of which will open Memorial Day weekend 2014.
