St. Jude Catholic Church in Allen, TX will host its 11th Annual Parish Carnival the weekend of September 8-10. The three-day event will include a midway with rides and concessions set up in a field south of the parish campus by Talley Amusements, Inc.; inflatables set up in the courtyard and front parking lot by Jumper Bee Entertainment; burgers, hot dogs and other popular food items provided by the Knights of Columbus; and an international food festival, art show and a balloon artist with live entertainment set up in the Parish Hall.
The hours for the 2017 St. Jude Parish Carnival on each of the three days will be:
Friday, September 8 - 05:00-11:00 PM, Midway only.
Saturday, September 9
- Noon to 08:00 PM - Parish Courtyard Activities
- Noon to 11:00 PM - Midway
Sunday, September 10
- 01:30-03:30 PM - International Food Festival & Art Show with Live Entertainment and Balloon Artist in the Parish Hall
- 01:00-10:00 PM - Midway
On Saturday, September 9, the following bands will be performing at these times:
- Noon to 02:00 PM - Parker Station Band
- 02:00 to 04:00 PM - R.A.Y.N. Band
- 04:00 to 07:00 PM - Pure Vibe DJ Band
- 07:00 to 10:00 PM - Signed Sealed Delivered Band, the "Best Party Band in Texas"
Separate tickets will be required for the Talley Amusements Midway and the St. Jude Parish Courtyard activities. Two ATMs will be available on the Midway because food will be sold on a cash only basis. If needed, overflow shuttle parking will be at Allen High School.
On Saturday, September 9, a special table will be set up in the courtyard for donations to the Allen Food Pantry.
Visit www.stjudeparish.com for pre-sale discount tickets ($25) until September 7. Tickets purchased onsite will be $30. There will be no refunds, rain, or shine. Children must meet posted height requirements for all rides.
Neither backpacks nor firearms will be allowed anywhere onsite during the 2017 St. Jude Parish Carnival.
Proceeds from the 11th Annual St. Jude Parish Carnival, raffle and silent auction will benefit educational opportunities in the local community as well as throughout the Diocese of Dallas.
St. Jude Catholic Church is located at 1515 North Greenville Avenue, between Exchange Parkway and Stacy Road. Saturday evening and Sunday morning & evening Masses will be offered at their regular times during the 2017 St. Jude Parish Carnival.
