St. Jude Career Alliance Ministry Offers New Expert Speaker Series

The St. Jude Career Alliance Ministry will be offering a new Expert Speaker Series at its Wednesday morning meetings on May 23, June 6 and June 13, 9-10:30 AM. The new three-week Spring 2018 Expert Speaker Series II is designed to provide guidelines for increasing job landing success through personalized job search strategies.   

Attendance at all St. Jude Career Alliance Ministry meetings is free of charge.  These meetings are also open to all people of any faith, ethnicity, age, etc.  Everyone is welcome!

Topic:      Your Phone is Over-Qualified & Under-Appreciated.  Train It to Find Work.

Speaker:  Bob Coleman, Creative Director, Vizion Studio, LLC.  A recognized pioneer in the field of visual strategy, Mr. Coleman's career spans over five decades.  After college, he was selected to be an Army combat artist in Vietnam; his paintings are now part of the Smithsonian Institution war art history.  Mr. Coleman's advertising & promotion work has won professional awards in a wide variety of categories:  photography, illustration, television & radio spots, outdoor, catalogs, branding, presentations, and packaging.  His work has been published in The Washington Post, Newsweek, and many professional publications. Throughout his career, Mr. Coleman's passion has been ideas that work.  At the May 23 meeting, Mr. Coleman and his son, Ethan, will share their digital experience to help the attendees utilize the power of their phones to reach their job search goals. Mr. Coleman's presentation will be interactive. Speaker:   Paula Calise, Principal, Linked Executive Search. The St. Jude Career Alliance is a ministry helping college students, career builders and those who are unemployed/underemployed to develop individual career strategies that meets at 9:00 AM most every Wednesday at St. Jude Parish in Allen, TX.  This Expert Speaker Series is free of charge and open to all people of any faith, ethnicity, age, etc. Everyone is welcome!

St. Jude Catholic Church is located at 1515 North Greenville Avenue, between Exchange Parkway and Stacy Road.  Attendees should park in the northeast lot and use the entrance between the church and the parish offices.

In addition to speakers and presentations at weekly Wednesday morning meetings, the St. Jude Career Alliance Ministry offers training in job search skills, support groups and job hunting resources.
