The St. Jude Career Alliance Ministry in Allen, TX today announced that Steve ("Zip") Zipkoff, internationally recognized business motivation & leadership expert, will be the special guest speaker at its Wednesday morning meeting on September 10.  Mr. Zipkoff's September 10 presentation will focus on business & personal success.

Mr. Zipkoff is the President/CEO of Richardson-based Zipkoff Solutions, a unique, innovative management education company founded in 1992 that utilizes a "no-box" thinking approach.  Zipkoff Solutions' mission is simple: To inspire its clients to discover, cultivate and capitalize on new capabilities for delighting customers and maximizing returns.  During his more than 40 years in retail marketing, Mr. Zipkoff's accomplishments have included:

  • Creation of the Sears DieHard battery national marketing introduction;
  • Development of the "We Do Chicken Right" national strategy for KFC Corporation;
  • Establishment of the "Value Menu" for Taco Bell;
  • Sustainment of two years of monthly same store positive sales comps as the Chief Marketing Officer at la Madeleine Bakery & Café;
  • Spearheading the introduction of the "Battle of the Burgers" competitive strategy for Burger King; and
  • Leadership of an Internet company ( to increased revenue and sustained profitability that led to an outright company purchase for over $40 million.

Mr. Zipkoff is also an instructor at the SMU Cox Graduate School of Business where he earned the prestigious Teaching Excellence Award 26 times for his course on "Delivering Customer Delight(TM)."

The St. Jude Career Alliance is a ministry helping job seekers that meets from 11:30 AM to 1 PM every Wednesday at St. Jude Parish in Allen, TX.  Everyone is welcome and there is no charge.
