Join us in worship at First United Methodist Church of Allen on Sunday, December 11, when the Music Ministry department, under the direction of Rev. Rusty King, proudly presents the world première of two new handbell arrangements of Mannheim Steamroller's Christmas favorites, "Joy to the World" and "Angels We Have Heard on High." These two updated carols are arranged by Michael Glasgow, a celebrated conductor, composer, handbell enthusiast extraordinaire, and minister of music at North Raleigh UMC in North Carolina.

 

The performance on December 11 features FUMC Allen's Carillon Bells along with drums, keyboard, horns, strings, and woodwinds. A repeat performance is set for Christmas Eve, December 24, at 10:30pm during the Christmas Vigil Prelude in the FUMC Allen sanctuary. Admission is free to both events.
