First United Methodist Church of Allen hosts a free family-style meal followed by a special Holy Week observance of the Lord’s Supper on Thursday, April 2.

The meal begins at 6:00pm in the church gym. Dinner features Southern chicken and rice casserole, a fresh fruit medley, olives, and a selection of gourmet homemade desserts.

At each table, diners are seated with a "disciple" who will share and explain the traditional meaning of the Passover Seder. Also, guests will hear from FUMC Allen youth about their upcoming mission trips in the summer of 2015.

The evening continues at 7:00pm in the FUMC Allen sanctuary as Jesus and His disciples lead in worship and Holy Communion. Special music is provided by the FUMC Allen’s DARING youth choir and Project Praise children’s choir.

Please bring your family and friends. While the meal is free, donations will be accepted to help fund this summer’s two youth mission trips.

Register online at www.fumcallen.org, in the FUMC Allen gathering area on Sunday, March 29, from 9:00am to 12:00pm, or call the church at 972.727.8261 for a reservation.

FUMC Allen is located at 601 S Greenville Ave, Allen TX.
