EarthFest 2014 will be held at the Connemara Meadow Preserve from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 5.
EarthFest is a free outdoor festival that features hands-on family-friendly environmental activities, nature walks and photo opportunities, kayaking and canoeing, wildlife presentations, live music and more. Nonprofit organizations from across Allen and throughout North Texas come together for this event.
Keep Allen Beautiful will be sponsoring a community cleanup of Rowlett Creek, beginning at 9 a.m. at Suncreek Park, 601 Alma Drive, and TAPS will provide park-and-ride shuttle service from Ereckson Middle School and City Hall beginning at 9 a.m.
Limited parking is available at the Meadow Preserve.
