The Allen Special Olympics Delegation ?will host its 25th Annual ‘Special Angels Among Us’ auction and dinner scheduled for Saturday, February 10, 2024 at the Sheraton McKinney, 1900 Gateway Blvd, McKinney from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. This year’s “Silver Anniversary” theme celebrates the 25th year of the fundraiser, which includes a seated dinner, guest speaker, athlete speakers, and community awards. Attire is semi-formal/cocktail and attendees must be 18 years of age.

This annual event is the primary fundraiser for the Allen Special Olympics Delegation, whose mission is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with special needs in Allen and surrounding communities. The funds raised provide uniforms and equipment needed throughout the year as well as cover travel and lodging expenses for regional and state competitions. This program supports and provides continuing opportunities for athletes to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, and experience joy, while creating new friendships and sharing their gifts with family and their community.
