The Allen Chapter of National Charity League, Inc., one of the nation’s most distinctive mother-daughter service organizations, recently honored its Class of 2017 at the fifth-annual NCL-Allen Junior Style Show.  The Hollywood-themed event took place on October 25 at the Allen High School Performing Arts Center’s Black Box Theatre, showcasing looks from fashion sponsors Altar’d State, Terry Costa, and Willa.  Other sponsors included Ambrosia Vintage Vogue, The Board Room, Bonnie Ruth’s, Chamberlains, Goodies Texas, Krispy Kreme, Oil & Vinegar, Smoothie Factory, Trademark Carwash, Twin Creeks Golf Club, Yogurtville, and Zoe’s Mediterranean Kitchen.

The 2015 Junior Style Show benefited Allen Community Outreach’s Princess Project, an annual effort to provide prom wear for girls in the community.

National Charity League, Inc. was organized in 1925 in California and has grown to over 200 chapters in 23 states.  Membership in NCL provides opportunities for its 55,000 mother/daughter members to strengthen their bond through philanthropic, leadership and cultural activities.   The Allen Chapter was formed in 2011, and its members proudly serve several of the surrounding community’s philanthropies and organizations, including Allen Community Outreach, Allen ISD, Allen Arts Alliance, and ManeGait.
