Summer will be here before we know it, and with pool parties and vacations, it's a good idea for everyone to know how to swim.  If you or a family member hasn't mastered swim techniques, register for the City of McKinney's Learn to Swim program and you'll be successfully splashing around the pool in no time.

The Learn to Swim program offers classes for all ages, beginning at 6 months of age and ranging to senior classes for ages 50 years-old and up.  Classes will be held at the McKinney Senior Pool.

It is not necessary to be a resident of McKinney to participate in the Learn to Swim Program.  Classes are $46 for residents and are $62 for non-residents.  Registration for spring aquatics classes is Jan. 19 and is offered online or at the McKinney Parks, Recreation & Open Space offices.

For a schedule of classes and registration, please visit the Parks, Recreation & Open Spaces website.

The McKinney Senior Pool is located at 1400 South College St.
