The Allen Chapter of National Charity League, Inc., one of the nation’s most distinctive mother-daughter service organizations, recently honored its Class of 2018 at the sixth annual NCL-Allen Junior Style Show.  The event took place on Sunday, October 30 at the Sheraton McKinney Hotel.  The theme was "Trendy Through Time," and the models showcased three different looks from fashion sponsors Altar’d State, Terry Costa, and Runway Seven, with jewelry provided by Kendra Scott.  The event featured performances from NCL-Allen's membership, including a Ballet Hip Hop routine by Ashton Franquiz (Class of 2018), a tap performance by Damiana Gugliotta (Class of 2020), and music by Lauren Rabalais (Class of 2017) and the duo of Sophia Starnes and Hannah Hansen (Class of 2018). 

Raffle sponsors included Kendra Scott, The Golf Club at Twin Creeks, Aspire Accessories, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, Envy Nail Spa, Nail Lounge, Zoe’s Kitchen, Trademark Car Wash, Village Burger Bar, Starbucks, Café Izmire, Runway Seven, Sherry Wilson Farmer’s Insurance, and Gordon & Janet Huseth.

The 2016 Junior Style Show benefitted Allen Community Outreach's Princess Project, an annual effort to provide prom wear for girls in the community.

National Charity League, Inc. was organized in California in 1925 and has since grown to over 225 chapters in 26 states. Membership in NCL provides opportunities for its 63,000 mother/daughter members to strengthen their bond through philanthropic, leadership and cultural activities. The Allen Chapter was formed in 2011, and its members proudly serve the community’s philanthropies and civic and cultural organizations, including Allen Community Outreach, City of Allen, Allen ISD, Allen Arts Alliance and ManeGait.
