Work off that stress, anxiety and more at Wellness Wednesdays at Watters Creek. Free, outdoor fitness sessions led by expert instructors in the beautiful, resort-style setting of Watters Creek are the perfect weekly date for wellness.  Every Wednesday through June 25, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., attendees can get fit for free by bringing their own mat to a complimentary class on The Green at Watters Creek.

This six-week series of Wellness Wednesdays features Tai Chi with Janna Whitton, a certified Qigong and Tai Chi instructor.  Tai chi is a low-impact, weight-bearing and aerobic -- yet relaxing -- exercise. First developed as a martial art, Tai Chi, often called "moving meditation," has been named one of the five best exercises by Harvard Health Publications for its ability to enhance both mental and physical health and for its accessibility to a wide range of fitness levels.
