Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm is proud to welcome the Allen Community Outreach Boutique to its tenant roster.

The one-month pop-up shop located across from Blue Fish is open July 15 - August 15 and will feature a specially curated selection of merchandise from their existing resale shop.  Proceeds of sales benefit Allen Community Outreach (ACO) programs and families in need in the communities of Allen, Fairview and Lucas.  The ACO Boutique not only sells affordable housewares, clothing, books and furniture to the public, it also provides those in need with free basic necessities.

“Through this generous donation of retail space from Watters Creek we are not only able to build awareness, it also helps us raise additional money that will fund programs that support families throughout our Collin County service area,” said Glenda May, Executive Director, Allen Community Outreach.

Donations from the community are vital.  The Allen Community Outreach Boutique accepts gently used furniture and household items as well as clothing, shoes and accessories in any condition.  Donations can be made at the Allen Community Outreach Boutique at 801 E. Main Street during regular business hours.  Those interested in volunteering can contact Del Herrod at 972-727-9131 x 4282.

The connection to Allen Community Outreach is a natural extension of the center’s commitment to the community and to the families who make up such a large part of their customer base.

“What’s important to families in our community has always been a central part of our mission,” said Cornell Holmes, General Manager, Watters Creek.  “We are proud to continue our tradition of supporting local initiatives like Allen Community Outreach, that enrich so some many lives in our community through our give back program ‘Make a Difference’.”

Store Hours: Monday - Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., closed Sunday.
