The Allen High School Fine Arts Department would like to invite you to The Wizard of Oz performance beginning Thursday, February 7 until Saturday, February 9.
The performance will take place at the Allen Performing Arts Center, located at 300 Rivercrest Blvd., on the campus of Allen High School.
The fine arts students will be the performers, the technical crew will make sure the show goes on without a hitch, the AHS Orchestra/Wind Players and Voices will be located in the pit orchestra and the munchkins (oh, we can't forget about the munchkins!) will be played by AISD 5th graders.
Here's a list of show times -- just in case you miss today's showing:
- Thursday, February 7 at 7 p.m.
- Friday, February 8 at 7 p.m.
- Saturday, February 9 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Seating will begin 30 minutes prior to each performance and the approximate run time is three hours.
To purchase tickets, you can go online at allenisd.org/PAC or the box office is located in the PAC commons and will be open February 4-8 from 5-8 p.m. and February 9 from noon-8 p.m. Reserved seating, not general admission, is anywhere between $5 and $15 (depending on seating location). There is no student, adult and senior pricing. Costs in addition to ticket price: $2 per ticket fee plus $2 transaction fee.
