The market was started in 2012 by Monika Potts, owner of Sweetly Recycled and Susan Myers, the owner of Carrolton’s Silver Star Mercantile. Vendors offer a variety of local foods and crafts and include the Rosemeade Market which sells produce and plants and Hollanen Farms, a family run farm from Allen that raises and sells beef, chicken, pork and egg. Other vendors include Lucido’s Pasta, Honeypot Honey, Up in Smoke (beef jerky) and several others. Non food vendors include a variety of soaps, handbags and jewelry. Markets are held on the second Saturdays of May, June, July and September.
