Family Promise of Collin County is one of 192 non-profit affiliates in 41 states that partners with 26 local houses of faith dedicated to providing homeless children and their families with interim housing, food and support services with the goal of transitioning the family into permanent housing. Family Promise provides comprehensive assistance for these families in a manner that offers hope, preserves dignity and promotes self-sufficiency. The organization works with other local social service agencies to help families with childcare, job training and employment placement.
