The Allen Community Jazz Band presents their annual free Christmas Concert at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 15, at the historic Allen Christian Church located in the Allen Heritage Village, 352 E. St. Mary Dr.

This thrilling concert will bring an innovative perspective to traditional holiday songs beginning with Santa Claus is Coming to Town. Other selections include We Wish You a Merry Christmas and All I want for Christmas is You made famous by Mariah Care, and Trombones Under the Tree.

Unique vibes will be apparent as the sounds of God Rest You Merry Gentlemen and Rest You Merry Samba echo through the aisles. 

Soloists will include Will Perry and Mark Woodard on sax and Kevin Purcell,
Stephanie Waterman, and Devin Hargrove on trumpet. A swinging arrangement of Sleigh Ride will conclude the concert.

The Band is led by Craig Logan and Associate Director Ray Akin, who provided arrangements for the concert.
